Build better content with Vantage

If you are using Shopify and need to add some "oomph" to your content pages, give specific products more description content, or even want a top-level collection page that oozes a better experience then look no further. We are pleased to announce the launch of the updated Vantage Shopify theme v6.5

So what's new?

Well, quite a lot but that all depends on when you last updated. If it's been a few years then you really are in for a treat. As well as offering the totally awesome Sectioned home page setup ( thanks Shopify ) we have now created a far better and infinitely more powerful way for you the merchant to create some super sharp looking pages without writing any code or installing any apps. 🎉

Lets be honest the text editor on Shopify's pages can be a bit of a bore, we can't organize galleries, split up content or create anything unless we delve into a little HTML or start adding tables... yuck! Vantage 6.5 addresses that problem with 4 custom page templates that use the same method for setup as your home page does... This means that you can create a landing page for an email campaign or your Black Friday deals that can contain, image galleries, featured products, additional content, maps, collections and much much more. What's more you can drag them into any preferred order for that page just like you can the home page.

By adding 4 pre-made templates that include these options into the theme this means that 4 pages of your choice can be configured to offer a greater user experience to your customers, here are some examples from our theme demos:

Did you say this works on products too?

Indeed, the same content that you can now add to your pages we also made available for your products. Up to 4 products can benefit from 4 new custom product templates that extend beyond the standard layout of others within the theme.  This makes it infinitely possible to showcase a new item, a single product or something that just takes a little more explaining than everything else.
Add products, collections, images, video, Instagram feeds, text columns and more.

You can re-use the same template repeatedly on every product within your store also, should you wish all of them to share the same content beyond the product title, description and product images:

Build a better collection hierarchy

Your collection pages are no longer isolated to a grid of products without any direction, from the top level down we have created 4 more templates specifically for your collections. This is something that we have seen requested many times in the past and is the missing piece of the puzzle for many retailers, but don't take our word for it - see it for yourself:
