Fashionopolism - Blogs and Blog posts

Shopify allows you to add multiple blogs to your store. Think of a blog as a magazine and the articles within that blog as it's pages. The blog page of your theme will show your articles in a chronological order - most recent first based on the published date of the article.

Blog section settings

The Blog section contains settings which control the appearance of its content.

• Text
  Blogs do not have a description area within Shopify, optionally use this area to add some text content to your Blog page.
• Show tag navigation
  Toggles visibility of a sub navigation in which all tags will be shown which when clicked filter to all articles with the selected tag.
• Show published date
  Toggle the date the article was published.
• Show author
  Toggles visibility of the article author.
• Show tags
  Toggle the visibility of tags applied to the article which can be used to show a filtered view of other posts sharing the same tag.
• Text Alignment 
  Aligns the text in the sidebar.
• Border sidebar blocks
  Puts a border around sidebar blocks.

The blog includes an optional sidebar which appears when blocks are added to the blog.

• Profile
  Add text along with Rich text to show a bio of the author of blog posts in your store or for any other image with text purpose.
• Product
  Select a product to be shown in the sidebar - great for gift cards or a subscription item.
• Newsletter subscribe
  Capture email addresses for future email marketing.
• Text
  Add some rich text highlighting links to content or just a welcome message.
• Image
  Add an image. 
• Menu
  Add a menu to your sidebar for quick navigation to key areas.
