Mr Parker - Collection banners
In OS 2.0 theme versions Collection banners can use metafields to select a unique image per collection.
For those with legacy stores and those on OS 2.0 stores who prefer to use a short code, this doc shows how to add a custom banner image per collection.
To add a unique collection banner image to each collection, use the theme's "shortcode" feature.
- Go to a collection page from within the Shopify Admin.
- At the bottom of the collection description, add the following "shortcodes"

[#banner_image]and[/banner_image] - Place the cursor between those two shortcode and add an image through the Rich Text Editor
- Click Save.
To add a banner caption (appears when "Float header on image" is enabled)
- Go to a collection page from within the Shopify Admin.
- At the bottom of the collection description add the following "shortcodes":
[#banner_caption]and[/banner_caption] - Place the cursor in between the shortcodes and type your description.
- Click Save.
