Forge - Product pages

Product pages include a number of setup options that allow you to shape and control the behavior and appearance of content.

Product section settings:

Product section settings are divided into groups for easier viewing.

Media

• Enable full width
  Toggles the width of the media to be full width.
• Gallery size
  Choose between a Small, Medium, or Large area in which to display product images.
• Gallery style
  Select from a thumbnail gallery or a grid gallery.
• Thumbnail position
  Choose between a Right, Left, or Bottom area to display thumbnails. Only available if Thumbnail gallery setting is selected.
• Enable click to enlarge
  Toggles the click to enlarge modal.
• Enable video looping
  When video is used on a product toggle it's ability to loop or play once.

Product content

• Show tax information
  If taxes are included enable this option to include that information beneath the product price.

Product page blocks

Product pages also contains blocks which allow you to control content and the order in which it appears on the page. 

• Title
  The product's title
• SKU
  The product's SKU
• Price
  The product's price
• Variants
  Shows the variants for your customers to select their size. color, etc.
  *We strongly encourage you to enable the Variant picker at all times to avoid issues with customers not seeing your variants.
• Buttons
  The Add to Cart + Shopifys dynamic checkout buttons. Setting to toggle the quantity selector visibility. Setting to toggle the Recipient information form for gift card products.
• Text popup
  Show page, text or metafield content in a popup modal. Has a label border toggle setting.
• Text
  Show a title and text under it for more product personalization.
• Richtext
  Show a title and richtext under it for more product personalization. Richtext offers more variety of text settings.
• Description
  Show product's description.
• Social sharing
  Social bookmarking links allow your customers to share links to your pages on their own Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest feeds. The more customers share those links the greater the SEO benefit and potential traffic flow to your store.
• Product customization
  Collect further information from customers when adding to the cart like a name, additional text, or an image which will become a part of the order
• Pickup availability
  When pickups are enabled in your store this will show stock locations and pickup information for customers looking to collect their order
• Payment terms
  Show a banner for Shop pay or other associated payment options.
• Countdown
  Set a countdown timer by adding the end date and time. 
  This can be shared across all products by simply adding details to the text inputs provided or can be unique to specific products by connecting a dynamic source (metafield custom data).
• Range indicator
  Display a range with a completed area which is great for an at a glance size and fit guide or shipping lead time.
• Complementary products
  Add related items to your product page using Shopifys search and discovery app.

Product details section:

The product details section allows additional content to be shown below the fold on product pages  which can be re-organized with other sections.

Product details blocks:

• Inventory
  Show the product's inventory level if you track products
• Weight
  Show the product's weight if this is tracked.
• Type
  Show the product's Product type
• SKU
  Show the product's SKU
• Vendor
  Show the product's vendor
• Collection
  Show the product's Collection (if visiting the product page from a collection page this will show)
• Description
  Show the product description in a wider area below the main product details as opposed to alongside the product images
• Richtext
  Show a title and rich text area
• Text
  Show a title and a single line text area
• Tag groups
  Show a group of tags based off of a menu and tags that are added in the product admin. Based off our Foodie theme.

Recommended Products section:

You can manually set these up by using Shopify's Search & Discovery app. Otherwise, Shopify will automatically fill these with product based on their algorithm.
